All coppercare bracelets come unlacquered, thus bringing the wearer into direct contact with the copper as soon as the bracelet is worn. A black or green mark may appear which is evidence of copper being deposited and absorbed through the skin. We use brass, (an alloy of copper and zinc) to add an additional colour to some bracelets.
